The great pacific garbage patch😔

😧What is the problem???

What is the problem?
People are buying all of the items that contain plastic, which is very bad for the sea life in various ways which is horrible.
What are the ways that it affects the sea life?
well the main effects to sea life is
that all of the plastic that people use like polystyrene cups, plastic bottles, plastic bags that you can get so easily at the supermarket, and plastic straws are being put in the bin then is being put into the landfill to disintegrate but instead it fly's away into the ocean. When it gets into the ocean it will go into micro plastics so we wont be able to see it and the sea life will eat it and slowly die because to the sea animals plastic is toxic.
What is the solution?
The solution is if we find a way that doesn't affect sea life and gets the rubbish out of the ocean we can try our hardest and not use plastic, we might have a chance to have a healthy environment where we do not have to eat, drink,or swim in rubbish we have another chance to live longer without these problems.

Dear future generations

 Dear future generations
Last week we did a piece of writing about the video we watched called dear future generations
and the writing was going to have the same structure of the video.
So here is my writing.

Dear future generations
When I say this I think I speak for the rest of us, Sorry
Sorry that we traded in prized possessions like trees,
That clean our carbon footprints, that purify water, that give us medicines that cure
Diseases, that provide us with oxygen  to be able to see different species of animals but sadly
we have gone blind.
Sorry that we let fossil fuels just rome in our atmosphere and create climate change
Which is affecting sea rising levels, so sorry.
Actually I am not sorry

Because mistakes are mistakes that are able to be fixed, we can unite and fix this we can
stop cutting down 40 soccer fields a minute and stop releasing fossil fuels that make climate
change, so just know we can.

Rainforest art!!!

For the past few weeks we have been doing art about Rainforest art. We all got to chose our own birds and plants to draw and my bird was a Purple starling. first we got waxed crayons and drew leaves of the plant we had chosen. Then once we had done that we got dye and stroked it across the page of A3 Cartridge paper. When it had dried we got A4 Cartridge paper and used the same waxed crayons to draw our birds and paint it with dye. when all of the art work dries we got all of the scrap bits of paper and glued little springs on of the paper so it would pop out.

!!!Level 1!!!

! Level one !
It is level one and we are COVID-19 free!
Us New Zealanders should be so proud to live in this country and represent it.
We are so happy that there is no more social distancing and we are finally able to walk up to our friends and give them a high five.
It is so much fun being able to come back to school and I am so happy that I am able to have fun with my friends.
We have been in lockdown for so long for example we were in level 4 from 26/3 to the 24/4 then level 3 was from the 28/3 to the 13/5 and level 2 was from the 14/5 to the 8/6.
