Rosies amazing journey
One rainy day I fell to the ground at the point where the river Thames starts.The ground was dusty, dry, and a little bit grassy it was as if there was a drought. I see a tall clunk of grey standing right there in front of me, I think I have heard of these before I’m sure it is called a stone marker. There was a tall brown fence surrounding me it looked proud to be there.
I was drifting past a place that was the color of seaweed green, it was everywhere. I could hear the water flowing straight past me sploshing around. I saw the trees rustling in the gentle breeze. I looked down and the water was so merky it was like a never ending abyss.
My surroundings have changed, I see cars in all sorts of colors like white, silver, red, and more. There is something that is beaming straight into my eyes, blocking my veiw of anything else, its coming closer and closer. Its a boat! A glorious one in fact. I hear people and motors ringing in my ears. I see buildings two stories high.
I float around to this weird place, the tree’s are dull and the sky looks overcast. I see people rowing with paddles that are swinging from side to side. I see something white gliding towards me with wings spread wide. ‘’Help!’’ I yell, but no one hears me, this white thing is a pelican it scoops me up with its long beak.
I look around but I can’t see a thing everything is pitch black, I feel my stomach drop its like a great disppair that I have never felt before, and I can tell you it is’nt a pleasant feeling. I start to lose hope, so I close my eyes and drown as my heart aches. I can’t stand this feeling but as I sink downto the bottom of the pelicans mouth I slip out of the feathery beast and I yell ‘’horah!’’. I see cars, people and lights flashing but to be honest it’s a little bit overwhelming but still beutiful.
I softly glide down the riverside peacefuly, and I feel delighted to be back. The colors of the magnificent sunset are orange and yellow almost as if it was a pastel drawing. I feela sense of relief as I pass by and go home.
