SHOULD GUY FAWKES BE BANNED IN NZ?

AGREE         OR        DISAGREE

I agree that guy fawkes should be banned because it creates fires, hurts people and frightens animals.

 Guy fawkes should be banned because... Fireworks can affect Hearing to people and animals, it could blind people, and hurt people. If used inappropriately it can catch flamible things on fire like if you don't run away fast enough something that you might be wearing might can catch on fire.

And animals get so frightened they do unusual things like run into FENCES!!!

also you can't control the spark that might catch tree's on fire, and the smoke from the fireworks kills animal habitats such as coral.

Also even though Li Tian is a harmless guy that invented Fireworks someone called Guy Fawkes tried to use them for evil instead of good by trying to blow up parliament.

even though the reason why we celebrate is because he didn't succeed, it is still a bad danger to people and others.

LONG WEEKEND!!!

                                                      LONG WEEKEND!!!
On the long weekend I did a fun run with my Mum and my Brother out Tokerau Beach. We got there at 9 AM to be there before over 200 people came also to get good parking... The run started at  10 am and people had the choice of running the 2 km, 4 km, 6 km, 8 km, and 12 km and of course I chose 2 km. When all the kids got back and was waiting for the 12 km runners everyone hed a sand castle competition and at that moment I saw my friend Lucy and we did a Octopus for our sand creation... also when we finished they gave out over one hundred prizes and after that everyone went home.but before that they gave out free food and drinks...

Pablo Picasso!!!

In my class we have been learning about the amazing artist Pablo Picasso.

We have all been trying our best to do our own Pablo Picasso art, because we are INSPIRED by       him... First we did this thing called Roll-a-Picasso.(Roll a Picasso is a fun game where you roll the dice, there is a list of things like ears, eyes, and mouths on the list and whatever you roll you get, as a example if you roll a five you might get a square ear) then we drew what we got on bits of paper and arranged it around our face shape!!! Then we drew it on a bigger piece of paper and coloured it with chalk pastel, cut it out and glued it on black paper...

                         Interesting facts about Picasso

                   1. Picasso's first word was PENCIL as they would say in France CRAYON.

                                    2. When he was 14 his sister died at the age of 7 

                                   3. Did you know that Picasso was married twice?

FILMING WITH HARLEY!!!!!!!!

Filming with Harley   

When we were filming with Harley one of the first things he asked everyone in the classroom was ''what is the difference between a script and a piece of writing?'' everyone answered a script it has characters, lines for different people to say, and it is something you act out. Harley also explained what the rule of thirds is.

Harley said what we all need to say when we start and it goes like this the director says quiet on set! turn over then the camera person says camera speed then the sound person says sound speed last of all the clapper board person says the characters names then says take one as an example:Alex and Drew take one.in the classroom the way we got to choose our parts was just asking if we could swap after their turn.

At the end of our session Harley showed us a short 7 minute movie he directed link will be down below in blue if you want to see it.it was so so fun filming !!!!!!!!!!!
